The body of Macao Customs Service Director Lai Minhua was found in a public toilet in the city, a media report said on Saturday.
According to Chief Executive of Macao Cui Shian, the director's body was found on Friday in a public toilet in Ocean Gardens area, the People's Daily reported.
The cause of death remained unknown, but initial investigation termed it as suicide, Cui said.
Commission Against Corruption of Macau reported no involvement of Lai Minhua in any case under investigation.
There was no conspicuous suicidal sign shown by Lai Minhua. She was to attend a security meeting later on Friday, Cui added.
