Made 'AAA' as a fan of Simbu: Adhik

Director Adhik Ravichandran says he made forthcoming Tamil action-drama "Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan" aka "AAA" as a fan of its lead star Simbu and his efforts paid off.

"As a hardcore fan of Simbu, I'm well aware how his fans would like to see him on screen. I have made 'AAA' keeping all that in mind and going by the response so far, I believe it has paid off. The film will be a treat for Simbu's fans," Adhik told IANS

Simbu plays an older character called Ashwin Thatha in the film.

Adhik is all praise for the efforts Simbu made to gain weight for the role.

"It wasn't an easy role to pull off. He could have easily said no to the role but he took it up as a challenge and worked very hard. He gained a lot of weight for the role and wore prosthetic make up to play his part," he said.

The film also stars Shriya Saran and Tamannaah Bhatia.
