A man was arrested in Bihar's Nalanda district Thursday for allegedly posting obscene pictures of a girl on Facebook, police said.
Nand Kishore, a student of master of computer application (MCA) in Biharsharif, district headquarters of Nalanda, was arrested on charge of posting obscene pictures of a girl student of bachelor of computer application (BCA) in Kisan college on a fake account on Facebook, police officer Dineshchandra Srivastav said.
"Nand Kishore was arrested after he was identified by the cyber cell of district police as a man behind posting vulgar photos on a fake account on Facebook," Srivastav said.
He said the case was handed over to the cyber cell for investigation after the girl lodged a complaint
Police said Nand Kishore is a resident of a village in Lakhisarai district. He was living in a rented house, pursuing MCA and giving tuition to BCA students.
Police have recovered SIM cards from his possession which were issued on fake identity cards.
