A man has been arrested for raping neighbour, a class 7 student, police said Tuesday.
The incident took place Sunday evening in Sangam Vihar area of south Delhi.
Ranjeet Kumar, 30, an interior designer, was arrested Monday after the victim's medical report confirmed rape.
A police officer said that the accused took the girl in his room and raped her.
"The victim informed her parents who approached police late Sunday night and registered a first information report (FIR)," said the officer.
