A Delhi resident has been booked for allegedly raping a 35-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter, Gurugram police said on Friday.
The woman said she met the accused, a resident of Amar Colony in Delhi, in a Gurugram market a few months ago.
After befriending her, the man came to her house one day in the absence of her 15-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son, and raped her, she said in her complaint.
She said the accused filmed the incident and started blackmailing her.
A few days later, he sexually harassed her minor daughter and filmed the act, said the woman who who hails from Uttrakhand.
The woman has been living in Gurugram for years. She started living in her current house after the death of her husband a year ago, the woman said.
A case was registered on Friday after the woman filed a complaint at Rajendra Park police station.
"We have registered a case against accused under sections 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) and POCSO Act. We are conducting raids to arrest the accused," a senior police officer told IANS.
