A 39-year-old man was arrested for allegedly molesting a woman outside a mall here in Haryana, police said on Monday.
Shailender Singh Chauhan was also charged with slapping the 25-year-old woman from Darjeeling in West Bengal outside Ambience Mall on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway.
"The incident occurred on May 30 night. The accused was arrested on Monday and will be produced in a district court," Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajesh Kumar told IANS.
The woman works at a beauty parlour in the mall. Chauhan is employed with a private life insurance company.
"Chauhan slapped the woman after she alleged that he was following her. The accused said the allegations were false," said an investigator.
