A 46-year-old man has been arrested in Delhi with heroin valued at Rs.20 lakh in the international market, police said on Thursday.
Mohammad Ibrahim was arrested on Tuesday from west Delhi's Pitampura area where he went to deliver a consignment of 200 gram of heroin, police said.
"Ibrahim befriended drug traffickers in the Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) hospital," Joint Commissioner of Police Ravindra Yadav said.
"Ibrahim used to provide important information regarding drug traffickers to police but later he was lured to make easy money through the drug business and started supplying heroin," he added.
