A man was arrested and fake Indian currency notes (FICN) with a face value of Rs.10 lakh seized from him near the India-Bangladesh border in West Bengal's Malda district, the BSF said on Sunday.
The FICN racketeer, identified as Saddam Hussain, 20 was nabbed by Border Security Force (BSF) troopers on Saturday from Daulatpur border outpost in Malda.
The accused along with the fake notes has been handed over to police.
The BSF South Bengal Frontier has seized over Rs.36 lakh fake notes and apprehended five smugglers so far.
