Bike-borne criminals shot dead a wood trader here on Friday -- opposite a police station.

The incident occurred in Pasaunda locality when two criminals armed with pistols on a motorcycle reached Muhabbat Umar's shop and opened indiscriminate fire.

The badly wounded trader was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead.
