Fashion designer Manish Malhotra has been named the grand finale designer for Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014 (LFW WF 2014) to be held from Aug 20 to Aug 24 here.
He will join forces with Lakme make-up expert Cory Walia and create the Lakme Absolute Bridal Dream Team.
"This is my fourth finale at LFW and I am as thrilled as I was the first time. This platform is one of the biggest celebrations of fashion that brings forth the best in design, beauty, fashion and Bollywood making it every designer's dream showcase.
"This season, I will be showcasing Lakme Absolute's bridal trousseau and I look forward to re-inventing my style inspired by Lakme Absolute," Malhotra said in a statement.
He has created designs for Bollywood celebrities like Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
