Actress Manisha Koirala, who has successfully battled ovarian cancer, is off to Chennai to meet cancer survivors.
"Off to Chennai to the Sri Ramachandra University to meet 100 survivors and 1,000 others whose lives have been touched with cancer. Freedom from cancer... and then off to my favourite Oneness University. Looking forward," Manisha said Tuesday in a post on her official Facebook page.
After spending over six months in New York for cancer treatment, Manisha returned home in June.
The 42-year-old, who had carved her own niche in the Hindi film industry with films like "Bombay", "1942: A Love Story" and "Dil Se..", plans to restart work in November.
