Veteran actor Manoj Kumar, who underwent a successful gall bladder surgery here, was Monday discharged from the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, said a hospital official.
"He was discharged today," Ram Narain, executive director, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital here, told IANS.
The 76-year-old actor complained of pain and was admitted to the hospital July 17. He underwent an hour-long surgery July 24, which also happened to be his birthday.
Manoj Kumar has starred in successful films like "Hariyali Aur Raasta", "Woh Kaun Thi?" and "Do Badan". He worked actively as an actor and filmmaker for about 30 years and also earned the title of 'Bharat Kumar' for directing patriotic films like "Purab Aur Paschim" and "Upkar".
