Many injured in UP group clash

Groups belonging to two communities clashed in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district Thursday, leaving many people injured, police said.

The violence began with a minor altercation over construction of a drain in Tigri village. It soon turned ugly with both the sides pelting stones at each other.

Police have been rushed to the violence-hit area.
