A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper was killed on Sunday when Maoists detonated a landmine in Bihar's Aurangabad district, police said.
Aurangabad Superintendent of Police Babu Ram told the media that two CRPF troopers were also injured in the attack.
The incident took place near Bandhu Bigha when the victims were returning on a motorcycle after a search operation.
The deceased was identified as Senior Constable Apurva Deka of Kamrup in Assam.
The injured CRPF men were first admitted to a government hospital in Gaya district and later shifted to Patna.
