Maoists have killed three persons in Bihar's Jamui district as they were suspected of being police informers, police said on Friday.
According to a police officer, Maoists late on Thursday beat to death the three, including a woman, near a dam in the district. "The persons were targeted as they were suspected to be police informers."
The police said a hand written pamphlet recovered from the site said they were awarded death.
The incident has created panic in the Maoist stronghold district as people remained indoors.
The police have launched combing operations to nab the Maoists.
