A 22-year-old married woman was gang-raped by two people when she was alone at her home, police said Thursday. The accused have been arrested.
The incident happened at Uttam Nagar area in west Delhi Wednesday afternoon.
The victim and her husband had befriended the accused - Mohit Kumar and Vikas Dahiya, both aged in their early 20s, seven months back during a trip to Mussoorie in Uttarakhand.
"On Wednesday, her husband was out when Mohit and Vikas barged in her house and raped her in turns. They also threatened her of dire consequences if she told anybody," said police, citing the woman's complaint.
Police said the victim told her husband when he came home in the evening and then they lodged the complaint following which Mohit and Vikas were arrested.
