Automobile major Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday said it will undertake a service campaign to inspect a suspected fault and replace a brake part in its premium crossover vehicle S-Cross.
"Maruti Suzuki India will undertake a service campaign to inspect a suspected fault and replace a brake part in 20,427 units of S-Cross," the company said in a statement.
According to the automobile major, the service campaign has been organised for 20,427 units of the company's premium crossover vehicle, manufactured between April 20, 2015 and February 12, 2016.
"Owners of the impacted vehicles will be contacted by dealers," the statement said.
"Service campaigns are undertaken globally by automobile companies to rectify faults that may potentially cause inconvenience to customers."
The company further said that the service campaign applies to both the variants of S-Cross.
