Actor Riteish Deshmukh, who has two sons, says it took some time for him and his wife Genelia to get on the right path during her pregnancy due to myths and wrong perceptions.

"Even when we (Riteish and Genelia) were going through that phase, we used to have different facts in our mind about certain things related to pregnancy. However, after meeting a good doctor our thoughts got a right path," Riteish said.

Riteish and his wife Genelia's love story began in 2003, culminating in marriage in 2012, and they had their first child Riaan in 2014. They welcomed their second son in June this year.

The actor expressed his views when he launched Labour Analgesia app 'Birth Ease' for pregnant women on Sunday with Genelia here. The app will provide information regarding the different queries on pregnancy and pain relief methods during labour and delivery.

Talking about the app, Riteish said: "During pregnancy, many queries appear for which we don't have right answers. In addition, we do have many myths and wrong perceptions in our mind related to the pregnancy and the labour pain. I think this app is very useful for the would-be-parents."

Riteish was last seen in musical action drama "Banjo", which also featured Nargis Fakhri in lead role.
