Nita Ambani, chairperson of the Football Sports Development Ltd. that operates the Indian Super League, on Tuesday described as a dream come true that she got to sit beside soccer legend Pele and watch a match between Atletico de Kolkata and Kerala Blasters.
Pele is in town for a three-day tour and will leave for Delhi on Wednesday.
Speaking about meeting the legend at the Salt Lake stadium, Nita said:" It is a dream come true sitting beside the legend and watching the game."
"The ISL is in its second year and it will grow with time. See this time it is even bigger," she added.
She also had a chance of clicking a selfie with the legend, who was clad in a light-blue shirt.
ATK co-owner Sanjiv Goenka along with Nita felicitated the legend gifting him a scarf.
Pele waved to the crowd and even posed for photographs with the Atletico players.
