Actress Megha Akash plays Dhanush's leading lady in filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon's Tamil action thriller "Enai Nokki Paayum Thota".
The movie went on the floors here on Monday.
"Megha has been paired with Dhanush in the film. Gautham was on the lookout for a fresh face when he heard about Megha from a friend. He saw rushes of her work from her first Tamil film and immediately brought her on board," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Megha, who has already worked in her Tamil debut film "Oru Pakka Kathai", also has another project in her kitty. This will be her third film.
Tipped to be an actioner, the film is likely to be wrapped in two months so that Dhanush can start work on his Hollywood project.
The film will be jointly produced by Gautham and Madan under Ondraga Entertainment.
