Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi arrived here Sunday with a team of central government officials to review the progress of projects under Prime Minister's developmental package in the state.
So far, the Central government has released Rs 36,000 crores out of Rs 80,000 crores developmental package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for J&K in 2015.
The team of inter departmental officers of the central government includes those from Human Resource Development, Health, Agriculture, Youth Welfare and Sports, Agriculture, Tourism, Finance, Rural Development, Defence, Textiles, Transport, Urban Development, Power and Home affairs.
Chief Secretary B.B.Vyas will lead the team of state government officials who will attend the review meeting with the central team.
