Steven Mendoza scored a hat-trick as Chennaiyin FC outplayed FC Goa 4-0 in an Indian Super League (ISL) encounter here on Sunday.
Mendoza (10th, 63rd and 75th minutes) and Elano Blumer scored for Chennaiyin as the Goan supporters remained stunned at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Following the result, Chennayin, who lost both their matches, are now fifth in the standings with three points, while Goa are fourth with four points.
