Lift shafts at 11 stations of the Delhi Metro's upcoming Pink Line (Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar) will have designs based on nature and classical music.
The 11 stations are Netaji Subhash Place, Shalimar Bagh, Naraina, Bhikaji Cama Place, Sarojini Nagar, South Extension, INA, Lajpat Nagar, Vinobha Puri, Nizamuddin and Ashram.
"Digital glass prints are being installed on the entire shafts of the lifts... The art works will cover these exposed portions and beautify the station area," the statement said.
"Themes inspired by nature and Indian classical dance forms have been chosen for the project. The designs have been prepared in house meticulously by (our) architects."
