Actor Michael Douglas is confident that he can salvage his marriage to actress Catherine Zeta-Jones.
It was earlier reported that Douglas and Zeta-Jones have been living separately for months, with his representative confirming they are taking time apart.
But the 68-year-old was spotted wearing his wedding band still at the Deauville American Film Festival, reports radaronline.com.
Asked if he thought he and Zeta-Jones could work out their differences, he told Britain's Sunday newspaper, "Of course!"
Douglas was in France to promote the theatrical release of "Behind the Candelabra", film based on the last ten years of pianist Liberace.
"People have been kindly asking how I'm doing. Well I put on a suit tonight, one I can't come close to buttoning, so everything must be OK," he said.
