Sevilla midfielder Matias Kranevitter on Monday said the football club must utilise the pre-season to give their best performance in the La Liga.
The Argentine, in a statement released by the club after the friendly played by Sevilla in Orlando in the United States, against Argentine outfit River Plate, said he was pleased by the match, his debut with the Spanish team, which Sevilla won 3-1, reports Efe.
The midfielder, on loan from Atletico Madrid, explained that the basis of victory over River was the training schedule prepared by chief coach Jorge Sampaoli.
Kranevitter, who began his career at River, acknowledged that facing his former club was difficult, but said that now he must defend the shirt of Sevilla.
