Real Madrid playmaker Luka Modric has received the award of the best Croatian footballer of the year for the fourth consecutive year.
Upon receiving the award, the 30-year-old on Monday night said winning the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid was the pinnacle of his season and he has big dreams as he will travel to France to appear with the national team in the Euro 2016, which kicks off on June 10, reports Efe.
He received the award from his former coach Slaven Bilic, current chief coach of English club West Ham United.
Modric said that it was a pleasure to receive the award from "his favourite coach" and praised his Croatian team-mates.
