Italy's Milan and Torino are negotiating with Olympique Lyon on the transfer of the latter's midfielder Clement Grenier, according to French newspaper L'Equipe, which reported that one of the two Italian football clubs has already signed a loan agreement with a purchase option.
During the last few weeks, Premier League side Sunderland, Italy's Palermo and a Russian team also showed interest in signing Grenier, 25, although the player's contract with Lyon extends until June 2018 and he wants to stay for another season at the French team, according to L'Equipe.
The newspaper on Friday reported that Lyon also received an offer from Napoli to buy French midfielder Corentin Tolisso, 21, whose contract extends until June 2020, reports Efe.
The newspaper said Napoli's offer was turned down because the French club does not plan to sell Tolisso.
