Mild tremors felt in Assam
An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit Assam early on Saturday, an official said. No damage or causality is reported.
The Regional Meteorological Centre here said the quake occurred 10 km beneath the ground at 6.45 a.m.
The epicentre was near Kokrajhar district.
