A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped inside a moving vehicle by two yet unidentified men in West Bengal's Howrah district, police said on Wednesday.
"A 15-year-old girl was pulled inside a taxi by two unidentified men near Hoogly district's Bali on Tuesday evening and was allegedly raped inside the car," an officer from Nischinda police station said.
"The accused later dumped the girl on a highway at around 11 p.m., nearly four hours after she was kidnapped," he added.
According to police, the victim managed to reach home but fell ill after the incident.
A case has been registered against two men under sections 363 (kidnapping), 376 (rape) and 366A (procuration of a minor girl) of the IPC.
"No one has been arrested yet. We are looking for the two accused," the officer said.
