Minor girl sexually harassed by 50-year-old
A seven-year-old girl was allegedly sexually harassed by a 50-year-old neighbour in West Bengal's Hooghly district, police said.
The child is in hospital in a serious condition.
As the incident became public, angry residents ransacked the house of the man, who the girl used to address as "uncle".
"The child was playing in the man's courtyard when he took her inside the house and committed the crime on Tuesday. When the girl returned home, she fell sick," said a relative of the victim. The man is on the run.
