Minor raped, murdered in Bihar

A man was arrested in Bihar's Siwan district Monday for allegedly raping and killing a minor girl, police said.

The girl was raped and murdered in Sahuli village in Siwan.

"The victim was part of a marriage party. The incident took place when she was sleeping in a vehicle, whose driver raped her and killed her," a district police official said.

According to a police officer, the accused was caught by villagers and handed over to local police.
