Mittal nominated IIMC Chairman

Ajay Mittal, Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has been nominated President of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Society and chairman of its executive council.

"The order will take immediate effect and will be effective till April 12, 2018, i.e. the date of expiry of the (term of) current IIMC society and its executive council or until further orders, whichever is earlier," said an IIMC statement.
