Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the "intolerance debate" heaped praises on the leader and said Modi "motivates" him.
"Modi works hard, it motivates me," he told the media here on Friday.
The "Saaransh" actor who had lambasted Aamir Khan for his intolerance remark, reiterated his stand on India being a tolerant nation.
"I have never heard so much of intolerance (in comparison to when I was growing up). Those who are speaking about intolerance are not talking about development and decrease in corruption," he said on the sidelines of the INFOCOM 2015.
On being abused on social media for his comments, Kher said, "By being abusive one is noticed whereas by being good one is not noticed."
