Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Friday condoled the death of 15 people by electrocution in a bus in Rajasthan's Tonk district.
"The bus incident at Tonk, Rajasthan is very heart-rending. My thoughts are with the families of those who lost their lives," Modi said in a message.
Extending her condolences to the families of the deceased, the Congress vice president hoped immediate relief and compensation was being provided, the Congress said in a statement here.
The bus was carrying a wedding party from Bachera to Morla village when it came in contact with a high tension wire near Saans village, around 100 km from Jaipur, leaving 15 dead on the spot and 35 others with burn injuries
