Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on October 2 launch a mega Mudra credit card camp in Jharkhand where people will get loan cards to start businesses, an official said on Wednesday.
Modi is scheduled to attend programmes in two places -- Khuti and Dumka.
He will inaugurate a rooftop solar power plant at the Khuti district court, which will become the first court in the state to get solar power.
Modi will then go to Dumka where he will launch the mega Mudra credit card camp.
"The target is to give loans under Mudra to one lakh people in Santhal region of the state," a state government official said.
Modi will also inaugurate online a renovation and conservation project of a series of temples in Maluti at an estimated cost of Rs.13.6 crore.
