Prime Minister Narendra Modi will fly in here on Monday morning to participate in the 75th anniversary celebrations of the Daily Thanthi newspaper, said state BJP chief Tamilisai Soundararajan.
Modi is expected to arrive here at around 10 a.m. and would return back to New Delhi the same day.
Security has been beefed up in connection with Modi's visit. Union Minister of State for Finance and Shipping Pon Radhakrishnan and others on Sunday inspected the arrangements at the airport, she said.
