The I-League Kolkata derby between traditional rivals East Bengal and Mohun Bagan was Saturday rescheduled from Jan 25 to Feb 11.
The venue remained unaltered and it will be played at the Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan.
The inability to provide police security in view of Saraswati Puja Jan 25 and Republic Day Jan 26 forced the change, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) said in a release.
East Bengal will host the first derby Feb 11 while Mohun Bagan will host the return leg at the same venue March 28.
