French football club Monaco have agreed to a 10 million-euro ($10.8 million) deal with Brazil's Atletico Mineiro to sign highly rated centre-back Jemerson.
The 23-year-old was due to travel to France on Thursday to undergo a medical and sign a contract, reports Xinhua.
Jemerson has made 56 first-team appearances for Atletico Mineiro after being promoted from the club's youth academy in 2012.
He is not the only Atletico player to attract interest in Europe.
The club's Argentine forward Lucas Pratto is reportedly being pursued by Spain's Celta Vigo.
