Following a poor outing in Monaco, Mahindra Racing driver Bruno Senna is eagerly looking forward to the Formula E Berlin ePrix on Saturday.

"The accident in Monaco was a shame for us because we had been quick throughout the day. However, these things happen and we just have to pick ourselves up and have a strong race, which we know we are more than capable of," said the Brazilian.

The May 9 race was filled with mixed emotions for Mahindra Racing where Senna crashed out in the opening corners of a huge unforced accident which made him airborne.

Now the Formula E caravan moves to the German capital for the eighth round of the electric racing car series where Berlin Tempelhof Airport will host the race. The circuit has 17 corners and is 2.5 km long.

"The track should provide a great view of the action given the location within the airport. I am sure the fans will be in for an exciting day of racing and we hope to be back in form and fighting right up there with the leaders," said Senna.

Senna's teammate Karun Chandhok, who finished 13th and out of points in Monaco, will definitely be looking for a top-10 finish.

"After Monaco, we're looking forward to putting the race behind us and focusing on Berlin. Having driven the circuit on the simulator, it certainly looks like it's going to be quite an interesting venue. The number of corners in such a short lap will probably be good fun and I'm sure this in turn should lead to some great racing on Saturday," said the Indian.
