German football club Monchengladbach's midfielder Andre Hahn will miss the opening games of the second half of the season due to an inflammation of his Achilles tendon.
Hahn won't be available for Monchengladbach's upcoming games as his left Achilles tendon has been immobilized with a plaster cast for 10 days, reports Xinhua.
The German international midfielder will be out of action for at least two to three weeks. He will thus miss the first three games of the second half of the season.
Hahn joined the "Foals" from Augsburg in March 2014 to pen a deal until June 2018. He has scored six goals in 23 appearances and five assists since.
Monchengladbach occupy the fourth place in the Bundesliga standings. They face Stuttgart away Jan 31.
