Bolivia international striker Marcelo Moreno scored a goal and missed a penalty as Flamengo were held to a 2-2 draw by Coritiba in Brazil's Serie A championship.
Moreno opened the scoring at the Mane Garrincha stadium Saturday with a clinical eighth-minute finish before Coritiba goalie Vanderlei kept out the 26-year-old's spot-kick with his foot, reports Xinhua.
Caceres extended Flamengo's lead just after halftime when he nodded in Gabriel's assist but Coritiba responded almost instantly when Chico headed in an Alex's corner-kick.
Alex then struck the equaliser, blasting an angled shot past Flamengo goalkeeper Felipe on the hour mark.
In other matches Saturday, Nautico fell at home to Ponte Preta 1-3 and Atletico Paranaense drew 1-1 with Gremio.
