Despite warm sunny days, the winter chill continues in most parts of Uttar Pradesh and will remain for few more days, the weather office said on Thursday.
The chill would continue in the early mornings and late evenings, said J.P. Gupta, Director of the Regional Met Office.
Since Tuesday, minimum temperature has fallen by 2 degrees Celsius.
Lucknow witnessed a minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius while the maximum is likely to be around 27 degrees Celsius.
Mercury in most cities of the state - Varanasi, Agra, Kanpur, Gorakhpur and Allahabad hovered between 11-13 degrees Celsius.
