Specialised auto component manufacturer Motherson Sumi Systems (MSSL) on Tuesday reported a 2.63 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit during the third quarter (Q3) of 2017-18 to Rs 561.71 crore.
During the Q3 of 2016-17, the net profit of the company was Rs 547.32 crore.
The total income of the company during the period under review stood at Rs 14,412.94 crore, up 33 per cent from Rs 10,840.24 crore earned during the corresponding period of FY17, the company said.
The company, however, reported a 18 per cent fall in its standalone net profit in the quarter ended December.
Standalone net profit for Q3, FY18 was Rs 174.59 crore, against Rs 212.96 crore reported in Q3, FY17, the company said in a regulatory filing to the BSE.
