President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday greeted the government and the people of Mali on their National Day and hoped that relations between India and the west African nation would strengthen in the years ahead.
"On behalf of the government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey to you and to the people of the Republic of Mali, warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day," Mukherjee said in a message to Mali President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.
"India and Mali enjoy warm and friendly relations. I am confident that our bilateral cooperation will further strengthen in the years ahead for the mutual benefit of our two people," he said.
