Gilles Muller of Luxembourg defeated American Sam Querrey 6-4 7-6 in the quarterfinals of the Queen's club tennis championships here on Friday.
Muller adjusted the head-to-head record against Querrey, World No.28, to 1-2 in the first match between both on grass, which lasted for one hour and 21 minutes, reports Efe.
Muller, who ousted fifth seed French player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, in the last round, is set to play against the winner of Croatian Marin Cilic and American Donald Young.
The 34-year-old Muller hopes to reach his fourth final this campaign after clinching Sydney and Den Bosch last week.
