At least three people were killed and over 20 injured when an employee went on a shooting spree in the midwestern US state of Kansas, authorities said.
The shootings took place at about four or five scenes and ended at the shooter's place of work, where he shot his colleagues on Thursday, Xinhua quoted T. Walton, a Kansas county sheriff, as saying.
Walton said the suspect was driving and shooting from his car before he was killed by the authorities inside his company, Excel Industries.
The shooting at Excel Industries reportedly occurred around 5 p.m. (local time), causing Hesston College, a two-year institution a few blocks away, to be locked down for about two hours.
