Burglars took away documents related to property from the unguarded house of a family whose seven members were massacred two months ago, police said Wednesday.

The incident came to light when Sachin Goel, son-in-law of the deceased Satish Goel, went late Tuesday to the house and found a bag containing the important papers missing.

"We have information about the burglary," said police officer Ram Narayan Yadav.

In May, seven members of the family of Satish Goel, a businessman, were butchered and valuables including cash and jewellery worth over Rs.1 crore were robbed from the house.
