Former Croatian tennis ace Goran Ivanisevic said Thursday that Scot Andy Murray made a mistake by splitting from coach Ivan Lendl.
"Last year was up and down for him, he changed the coaches. For me that's maybe his biggest mistake, letting Ivan go," Ivanisevic was quoted as saying by bbc.com.
"Because it was a perfect match. They did everything well together."
World No.6 Murray is now coached by retired French women's tennis player Amelie Mauresmo after ending his partnership with Lendl in March 2014.
The 27-year-old won the US Open, Wimbledon and the Olympic gold medal under Lendl, but separated after being together for two years as the latter could not commit to enough time on tour.
