Sarod players Ayaan and Amaan Ali Bangash feel music is important for the environment too.
The sons of legendary sarod player Amjad Ali Khan performed at the Network 18's 'Global Natural Resources Conclave' here on Wednesday.
They said in a statement: "Music plays a very important role towards the environment. It is also scientifically proven that music has a positive effect on the mind, soul, and body and most importantly on plants."
"It is very important for us to preserve nature for our coming generations, for them to enjoy the bountiful benefits of nature. We hope that through our music, we are able to do our bit towards the environment."
The brothers will be performing with their father in Singapore on May 14.
