Musical ode to Jagjit Singh in Delhi on Saturday

Ghazal singer Zulfiqar A.K. Sabri will be paying tributes to many ghazal maestros, including late Jagjit Singh, with a musical night titled Reborn-Ghazal Era Returns, which will be held here on Saturday.

The ghazal night will be held at Shri Satya Sai Auditorium, Lodhi Road here, read a statement.

The musical night is a result of an initiative of Steelbird Group's entertainment division in association with Mediawire.

Rajiv Kapur, MD of Steelbird Group, said: "Listening to Zulfiqar is actually a blissful moment for any ghazal lover, especially if you are fond of Jagjit Singh."

Sabri also shared that he is a "a fan of late Jagjit Singh".

"When audience relates me with Jagjit ji, it's like getting an Oscar," he said.
